Waymon and Barbara Hemmings founded B.A.H. Express, Inc. in May of 1990 with seven tractors and seven trailers. By May of 1991 the company was beginning to grow so they recruited their son Mike to assist with the expansion. In January of 1993 their daughter Kathy joined the team. Over the next thirty-four years, B.A.H. continued its growth and now is considered to be a highly diversified and financially sound transportation company. Conveniently located in Atlanta, GA with a warehouse, distribution center, and a full service maintenance faciity, B.A.H. currently operates a fleet of 200 company owned late model tractors and 550 late model trailers.

Another terminal was later acquired in June of 2006 based out of Calhoun, Georgia which also includes a full service maintenance facility. In addition to these terminals, B.A.H. also has satellite locations in Knoxville, TN and New Orleans, LA.

Our drivers are friendly, courteous, and employed directly by B.A.H. Express, Inc. Many of our drivers have been with us ten years or longer.

B.A.H. provides flexible and reliable service to time sensitive customers as a Super-Regional, Inter-Regional, and local carrier that can accommodate both full and partial truckloads. We have a 48- state contract authority and specialize in serving the Southeast and Midwest regions. In addition, our full service Logistics Division provides additional coverage and greatly enhances our overall capacity.
